Photo Post: They Grow up so Fast...

Okay, this is just a brief photo post, but it’s adorable. More typical material will eventually show up, including that sought after zoo review.

A few weeks ago, I had the fortune of a mother Carolina wren laying her three eggs in a nest crafted out of the materials in one of the flower pots on my porch. Since then, I have watched them hatch and grow, going froms thi:

And then, as of today, taking flight as this:

(Don’t worry, in spite of the awkward positioning, it isn’t stuck in the web or anything. It joined its two siblings in the trees soon after, where I lost track of them)

Nature is beautiful.
